As the Founder and Managing Director of Rogers MacJohn, Richard helps companies move beyond traditional CSR to become primary agents for delivering societal and shareholder value. He leverages insight and experience from over 25 years in industry, management consulting, and philanthropy at industry-leading organizations.

Prior to founding Rogers MacJohn in 2017, Richard spent 10 years with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as a Senior Program Officer, leading the Market Access team and private sector partnerships for the Agricultural Development Program. He developed and managed a $400M portfolio of grants and corporate co-investments to catalyze greater productivity, market access, and incomes for 2 million small African farming households.

With nearly 20 years of experience in agricultural development, strategy, and operations, Sarah is passionate about scaling high-impact teams and strategies in challenging contexts, especially in Africa. She has a proven track record of translating vision into operations, instilling excellence, and cultivating customer focus in startups and high-growth organizations.

Prior to joining Rogers MacJohn, Sarah served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Apollo Agriculture, where she designed and led innovative programs and partnerships to help smallholder farmers access subsidized fertilizers, credit products, and new markets. She also built the sales operations function to support a network of 5,000 agents.

Bill Guyton is a senior-level leader within international agribusiness and non-profit organizations committed to creating and implementing global sustainability best practices. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his ability to create public-private partnerships and resilient supply chain and community-based programs.

Prior to joining Rogers MacJohn, Bill founded and served as President of the World Cocoa Foundation for 15 years, growing the organization from a handful of companies to a globally recognized body with 115 members representing 85% of the global chocolate industry — improving the sustainability of cocoa production and the livelihoods of smallholder cocoa farmers worldwide.

Steve Homer is a recognized international certification and standards specialist. He has worked with the Global Food Safety Initiative and the Global Social Compliance Platform in developing benchmarking criteria and writing normative reference standards over the last decade.

Steve has served on the Boards of GlobalGap, the Ethical Trade Initiative, NSF-CMi (a global not-for-profit certification and risk management organization), and the UK National Proficiency and Testing Council. As a former director of GlobalGap, he maintains close relationships with the organization and has worked on global certification projects in Ukraine for the UK Foreign Office and Ministry of the Netherlands.

Mark Ingram is a seasoned professional with over two decades of expertise in conceiving and executing inclusive agribusiness value chain projects. Renowned for his commitment to positive transformation in the agricultural sector, Mark specializes in harnessing the power of private sector partnerships to lift communities out of poverty.

Mark draws from rich experience across senior leadership roles in the public, private, and non-profit sectors related to global agricultural trade and diplomacy. He started his career as Trading Manager for Kanematsu Corporation, the largest Japanese trading house, and New Zealand agribusiness trader Anthony Marquet Ltd.

Dr. Ogumo has spent over 20 years in the private sector, mainly working in agricultural supply chains, cutting across production, supplier management, and retail. Before joining Rogers MacJohn as a specialist, Erick most recently served as an agricultural specialist at the IFC advising on transactions in the agribusiness sector. Prior, Erick served as a supplier development manager at Tesco, responsible for optimizing value chain and supply chain efficiency, mostly for horticultural produce, to significantly reduce food waste and deliver consistent quality and affordability to customers.

Before joining Tesco, Erick serviced as the lead agronomist for Coca-Cola East & Central Africa to provide advice on agronomic practices to enhance the sustainable production, yields, and quality for fruits important for Coca-Cola's Minute Maid juice business. He was also involved with Project Nurture to help sustainably integrate 54,000 smallholder mango and passion fruit farmers into Coca-Cola's local African supply chains.

Steven Jaffee is an agricultural economist with more than three decades of experience related to agri-food system development in low- and middle-income countries. He has led complex multi-disciplinary research programs, provided high-level policy advice, and contributed to investment project design and monitoring in relation to multiple themes, including food security, agricultural diversification, risk management, sustainable commodity value chains, agricultural trade, urban food systems, and the economics of food safety.

Prior to joining Rogers MacJohn, Steven was a long-standing staff member and Lead Agricultural Economist at the World Bank. Steven is also currently a Lecturer at the University of Maryland's Agricultural and Resource Economics Department.

Per Braginski is an experienced strategy and marketing professional with expertise in market research and farmer segmentation as well as translating consumer insights into product, service and brand concept development.

Per advises corporations, as well as NGOs and development organizations, in generating and leveraging key insights of their customers, suppliers, and beneficiaries to enhance strategy development, market segmentation, product and service offerings, and communication.

Tanvir Uddin joined Rogers MacJohn as an analyst after serving as an Islamic Finance Fellow Associate at the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), where he appraised investment placements and monitored and reported on over $260M of assets, performing due diligence on more than 10 transactions worth over $300M in renewable energy infrastructure and healthcare in MENA and Asia.

While serving as the Southeast Asia Enterprise Development Manager at the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership in Jakarta, Indonesia, Tanvir led enterprise development, business case formation, and investment pitches for the Acceso Indonesia $1.8M coconut sugar and $1.1M black soya bean supply chain social enterprises.

Ekemezie brings skills from 6 years of professional experience, including 3 years of management consulting with McKinsey & Company, where he served clients across the private and public sector in Banking, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, and Energy across West Africa, Southern Africa, and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Rogers MacJohn, Ekemezie was an Associate at Mini Grid Innovation Lab, where he managed relationships with over 20 mini-grid developers to design, launch, and drive 10 innovation prototypes on 110 sites across 7 countries, with $800K of funding from donors including UK Aid and the Rockefeller Foundation.
