Ekemezie brings skills from 6 years of professional experience, including 3 years of management consulting with McKinsey & Company, where he served clients across the private and public sector in Banking, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, and Energy across West Africa, Southern Africa, and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Rogers MacJohn, Ekemezie was an Associate at Mini Grid Innovation Lab, where he managed relationships with over 20 mini-grid developers to design, launch, and drive 10 innovation prototypes on 110 sites across 7 countries, with $800K of funding from donors including UK Aid and the Rockefeller Foundation.
He has worked on several strategy and operational projects, including developing the commercial model to determine optimal service charge and cash-balance implications to establish hybrid solar power plants across tertiary institutions in Nigeria, as well as developing an optimized product pricing strategy across the entire portfolio for the Nigerian arm of a global beverage company.
Ekemezie holds an MSc. in Philosophy of the Social Sciences from the London School of Economics and a BA in Liberal Arts from St. Mary's College, MD, USA.
