With nearly 20 years of experience in agricultural development, strategy, and operations, Sarah is passionate about scaling high-impact teams and strategies in challenging contexts, especially in Africa. She has a proven track record of translating vision into operations, instilling excellence, and cultivating customer focus in startups and high-growth organizations.

Prior to joining Rogers MacJohn, Sarah served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Apollo Agriculture, where she designed and led innovative programs and partnerships to help smallholder farmers access subsidized fertilizers, credit products, and new markets. She also built the sales operations function to support a network of 5,000 agents.

Prior to that, Sarah worked as Head of Value Chain Development at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, where she pioneered nationwide public-private partnerships between the company, the government, and the Central Bank of Nigeria to transform wheat production. She also served as Senior Director of Strategic Services and Advisor to the CEO at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency, a delivery unit embedded within the Ministry of Agriculture.

Earlier, Sarah served the CEO of Driptech, a venture-backed social enterprise making low-cost drip irrigation in India, which she sold to the global industry leader in 2015. She has also worked with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Digital Green, a mobile money start-up in Indonesia, a microfinance institution in El Salvador, and a New York corporate law firm.

Sarah holds a degree in International Finance & Policy from Columbia University and a B.S. in Management Science from MIT.
